Maharashtrian Paithanis are known for luxurious pure silk, intricate designs, buttas, borders and most notably, the pallu. Filled with unique and traditional motifs, the rich pallu is a shimmering sight to behold. Interweaving threads of pure silk and zari create dazzling imagery on the pallu and borders, with a characteristic oblique square design. Paithani handloom sarees can take anywhere from 2 months to 2 years to make, due to the meticulous craftsmanship and precision. This saree is a press-stiched nauwari (9-yards) in a Raj Lakshmi pattern. It is a traditional Maharashtrian style of Paithani. It has an adjustable waist with hip size up to 44cm and an approx. height of 41cm.
